Our Hearts Are Beeping...

So, for months Sam and I have been planning a screening of the Invisible Children film. After fussing with problems finding a location for the screening, dodging legality issues, and dealing with our ridiculous principal and his lack of tact, punctuality, and organization...the event took place successfully this evening.

And it was amazing. It was positively one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done.

We met the reps from the organization around 6PM, people trickled into the auditorium for about an hour, and then the film started just after 7PM. We had a turnout of a total of about 40-50 people. Thank you so much to Matt, Katie, and Sarah(?) for helping to make this a reality. We (obviously) could not have done it without you (since we wouldn't have had a projector to show the film with...:3). And thank you, of course, to everyone who came to the screening.

I hope you all realize that just by seeing the film, you've made a huge difference. Awareness is the key to ending this war. You have all done your part by opening your eyes, your ears, and your hearts. Thank you all so very much.

If you were unable to make it to the screening...please go to InvisibleChildren.com and have a peek around. It will change your life. Thank you for your time and your efforts, everyone.
